It has taken months of red tape and custom delays in the Dominican Republic, but all of the school supplies have arrived safely to the orphanage! "What started out as a very sow and?frustrating process with Dominican Customs has turned into joyful praise with the children in the orphanage" said Todd Perry, Director of the PFF. "Just look at the photos they sent as they were opening the boxes.' Perry continues, " It was well worth the wait!"
Todd also commented on the orange aprons in one of the photos; " The Home Depot in O'Fallon, Missouri had donated some wood working kits and Home Depot aprons to our kids. When you see the kids all dressed in Home Depot Orange, that's what they are wearing, those aprons."
Once again God's timing is perfect. Please read the letter below from Sonia Hane the orphanage Director:
RE: Expression of Gratitude
May the Lord continue to bless you all. The Orfananto Ninos de Cristo would like to say "Thank You" for your donations. The shoes as well as the school supplies were a true blessing. This donation came at the precise time when it was most needed.
Our thanks to The Pujols Foundation and those generous people
that helped to put a smile in the faces of every child.
We are sending an inventory of the items given to us by Custom and pictures reflecting the joy and happiness in our children as we gave them their gifts.
May the Lord bless and you and reward your efforts,
Yours truly,
Sonia Hane
Thank you to everyone who contributed to make this a very special day for the orphans of The Orfananto Ninos de Cristo.
