Leah has Down syndrome and each year feels the PFF would be a great way to help others and build awareness for others just like her.
"Leah is truly an amazing little girl," says Todd Perry, Executive Director of the PFF. "Each year she gives up her birthday presents so that we might expand our programs to build awareness for the Down syndrome community. That's what I call a very special person!"

Leah Hammann once again had a birthday party. And, once again, in lieu of receiving any gifts, Leah asked all of her friends to please make a donation to the Pujols Family Foundation on her behalf. "Leah invited her entire 5th grade class this year," says Leah's mother, Ann. Last year Leah raised over $550 for the PFF and this year she was able to collect $1370.00!
