Clarkson Eyecare Down Syndrome Day July 11

The Pujols Family Foundation is very pleased to announce a partnership with the Clarkson Eyecare Foundation of St. Louis, Missouri.

Clarkson Eyecare will become the Official Eyecare Provider of the Pujols Family Foundation, providing complimentary Eyecare services to the employees of the Pujols Family Foundation and their families.

In celebration of this partnership, Clarkson Eyecare has set aside Wednesday, July 11, 2007 as Down Syndrome Day at several of their St. Louis locations. Clarkson Eyecare President Bill Jehling explains, "On July 11, we will block appointments at 10 offices between the hours of 11AM and 5PM and accept appointments with members of the Down syndrome community. The Clarkson Eyecare Foundation is pleased to provide free eye exams and glasses to the members of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis who do not have vision insurance coverage or who otherwise would not be able to afford them."

The Clarkson Eyecare Foundation has also agreed to accompany the PFF on our next trip to the Dominican Republic in February of 2008. They will carry a team of doctors and technicians to provide eye exams and glasses for the children at the orphanage in La Romana and the people of Batey Aleman.
