SUMMARY:2014 Pumpkin Palooza
DESCRIPTION:<►>\n			\n	\n\n\n\nOnce a year the Pujols Family Foundation and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis gather together at a local pumpkin patch to celebrate the Down syndrome community. On Saturday\, September 27th\, the PFF and DSAGSL held their annual Pumpkin Palooza Fall Festival event at Rombach Farms in Chesterfield\, MO. Both organizations invited people with Down syndrome\, 15 years and under\, along with their immediate family to attend this fun fall event. \nAs the families arrived on the farm\, they were greeted by event volunteers that shared with them the fun activities that were awaiting their families for the day. The first stop for many was the pavilion that held all the food for a wonderful lunch. People enjoyed barbeque from Bandana’s BBQ\, macaroni and cheese from Valenti’s Catering and tasty treats from McAlister’s Deli and Lucky’s Market. Raising Cane’s set up their lemonade stand where they were busy handing out lemonade and sweet tea\, along with cool sunglasses for the kids. \nIf you were not enjoying the delicious food that was available\, you were probably picking out pumpkins or getting your face painted. For all the kids attending the event\, they were able to pick out their own pumpkin\, get their face painted\, and take a trip through the Haunted House and Dragon inflatables. Rombach Farms also features a wooden maze and fort\, creative pumpkin characters\, a country store\, hay and pony rides\, farm animals\, and mountains of pumpkins available for families to enjoy. \nEveryone agreed that the warm fall weather was perfect for a family barbeque and pumpkin picking. As one of the most highly anticipated events of the year\, the Pumpkin Palooza Fall Festival brings so much joy to the families it caters to. This event allows the entire family to join in on the fun. It provides families with a wonderful opportunity to connect\, share stories\, and get in some quality family time.
