DESCRIPTION:The Pujols Family Foundation and Eagle Bank and Trust are joining forces to enhance the lives of families served by the foundation. \nFor the past four years\, the Pujols Family Foundation has provided support area families afflicted by Down syndrome. The foundation hosts several social events throughout the year including a Prom\, bowling nights\, scrapbooking nights and cooking classes to provide hope and extraordinary experiences for families and children who live with Down syndrome. The foundation also works to meet tangible needs for these children and their families. \nIn the Dominican Republic\, the Pujols Family Foundation improves the standard of living and quality of life for impoverished children in the Dominican Republic through education\, medical relief and tangible goods. Most recently\, the Foundation distributed 51 beds throughout villages in the Dominican Republic with a goal of giving 300 beds to the poorest families. \nTo continue these incredible efforts\, the foundation seeks financial assistance from individuals and corporations. Eagle Bank has been a member and supporter for three years and is introducing a new method local businesses can assist the Pujols Family Foundation. This June\, Eagle Bank will introduce a business money market account with a rate equal to Albert’s batting average. For example\, if Albert is batting .337\, the money market interest rate is 3.37% Annual Percentage Yield. This is a very limited offer and requires businesses to donate a minimum of $100 to the foundation.
