SUMMARY:The Garden Gathering - St. Louis
DESCRIPTION:The Pujols Family Foundation is excited to provide our first ever Garden Gathering Days in partnership with The Franciscan Sisters of our Lady of Perpetual Help. This program is an opportunity for people with Down syndrome and a parent to experience the process of growing & harvesting food. The first 3 Saturdays will be Interactive Participation Days where participants will get to work directly in the garden. There will also be educational opportunities to learn more about the different types of fruits and vegetables and how they are grown. \nThis program will conclude with a Garden Feast in October\, where participants will enjoy a meal prepared with the food that they have been growing throughout the summer. \nWhen: July 23rd\, August 20th\, September 17th\, & October 8th\nWhere: 12824 Peter Moore Lane\, DeSoto\, MO 63020\nPrice: FREE \nPlease RSVP to Jen Cooper Teemer at (314)878-2105 or jen@pujolsfamilyfoundation.org. \nA parent or guardian must be present at all sessions.
